Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: policykit

If i autologin to my sytem then please dont ask for password on mounting local
disks. This is hardly necessary and definetely not a security threat.

Or atleast allow a option like always allow or something.

Really this is irritating and ruing the whole experience.

/me thinks this is one of the type of things which makes people hate
Vista.

OS: Ubuntu
version: 9.10
in 9.04 ubuntu this problem was not there, then i formatted and reinstalled
9.10
and now when ever i try to mount a local disk (my ntfs partition containing
windows) in ubuntu then it tells me authentication reqd to maount disk.

If i cancel on the dialog as shown in the picture then it doesnt mount
it,

** Affects: policykit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
