Dear WeatherGod Thanks, you are correct Daniels message did confuse me... so thanks.
I first installed ubuntu netbook remix on my eee pc 1000h about 2 weeks ago using the instructions on easy peasy. I loaded ubuntu permanently removing xp from my computer when formatting drive in the install process. This was fine except netbook remix wouldnt update... but then a message came up that Ubuntu 9.10 was available to update which it would allow so i proceeded to install it (about 5 days ago). This gave me a new ubuntu 9.10 system and i proceeded to download updates and let the update manager install them. I have done this several times since in the hope an update may fix my no sound problem (note sound was fine on ubuntu netbook remix from easy peasy). I was also asked something on installation which made no sense to me... did i want IBus input method framework to which i said yes... no idea or direction to what this is or how to choose the correct option so not sure what this does. I hope this helps thanks Lee -- No sound on any device or video from internet or cd since installing ubuntu 9.10 on eee pc 1000h https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/473592 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
