Public bug reported:
I am using an x-fi soundcard plugged into a 5.1 speaker set.
Whenever i play mp3s with rhythmbox and i manually skip a track, the subwoofer
signal "kind of" dies, i dont get the full sound anymore. When i use
pavucontrol to switch the strema to another soundcard and back, the full signal
comes back and it sounds normal. Setting the speakers to another configuration,
like 2.0 or 4.1 and setting it back then to 5.1 works too. However, when
rhythmbox switches the tracks automatically the sound stays clear.
I am not sure if its a pulseaudio or alsa Problem
