Confirmed on Ubuntu 9.10 server (final) with cups 1.4.1-5ubuntu2. The hosts cannot find the shared printers, as described by the reporter.
The workaround proposed by Heitzso unfortunately doesn't work here. However, I'm a bit suspicious if this is a general problem, because there are just a few reports on this so far. If printer sharing would be broken generally, I guess there would be far more people reporting this issue in the bugtracker and on the forums.
