Thanx Bradd and Daniel, both are true. I think, after the my update from 9.04
to 9.10, ubuntu had a problem with grub. Possible, that it's a restriction of
the bios to the size of the HD. In the laptop originally a 60 GB HD was in, I
changed to a 160 GB. With windows no problem and with ubuntu also not. Only in
the case, grub writes something in the area over 60 GB of the 160, what
happened, because the disk was used with about 100 GB.
Then an error comes, therefore I think ubuntu uses the old kernel with some
parts of the new software. Is this possible ? After I installed completely new
using manual partitioning, installed ubuntu 9.10 in an area under the 60 GB
border, it runs very well. Sound is working.

** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => In Progress
