Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome
When I logged in into Gnome as first user and start second Gnome session under another user, everything runs extremaly slow in that session, windows are opened slowly, cursort runs slowly too. When running htop to see which eats all CPU, I see like X process do this, eating about 60-70% of CPU when I try to move cursor. At the same time, under first session everything runs smoothly. Looks like 9.10 is buggy release. Sad there were no option to download good 9.04 release, otherwise I would never downloaded 9.10 >:( ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Nov 4 22:54:56 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/yelp InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) Package: yelp 2.28.0-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: yelp Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 ** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Very slow when more then one user is logged in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474655 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
