Did the screen appear to be working for each mode? Hard to say as it was shunted over to one side, but possibly yes. I ran the same test on a Dell laptop yesterday so I have some idea of what it should look like. But the graphic on this machine definitely weren't happy. Wish I had stayed with Jaunty now.
