Fixed again.
It wasn't any recent change in themes, but you did point me in the right 
direction.
The problem was I've never change the theme since I installed Ubuntu 9.10 Beta 
on this laptop.
Re-selecting the dust theme in the appearance dialog changed the indicator 
icons for the better.
(Looks like the old icons are still somewhere on my system apparently)
The bluetooth icon is from Blueman 1.21 which replaced the gnome-bluetooth 
manager because that one doesn't support the DUN protocol which I use to 
connect which my phone to the net. And it just works better. ;-)
(1.10 is in the default repository)

Thanks again and sorry to bother you with this already fixed bug for the second 
time.
I'll try harder next time to fix it myself.. ;-)
