The youtube plugin does not need to be disabled, it needs to be fixed and it 
can't be that difficult as for example minitube also still works. Until this 
issue is fixed I recommend everybody to use firefox+greasemonkey plugin + this 
script :
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/50771

it works like a charm, and takes much less cpu than flash as it streams
the .mp4 files directly and plays them with gstreamer, mplayer or
whatever decoding libraries you installed...
