I am not sure if anyone experience the same as I do, but here is a short description: When I connect the iPod Banshee opens up automatically and an iPod icon shows up on the desktop - and also in Nautilus. It does not show up in Banshee how ever. So it seems as if the system understands that the iPod is there, just that Banshee does not get it (yet).
