I may be confused by your bug report, could you elaborate a bit more on
how you ran into this?
It sounds like you did a fresh install of Karmic and then installed nvidia and
it worked.
Then you did another clean fresh install of Karmic (using the same cd?) and
then installed nvidia and it did not work.
That seems to not make sense to me, it should either work in both cases
or fail in both cases. Can you clarify further, I'm guessing I just
misunderstand what you've reported.
