Can you take a look at the
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUpdateManager . The logs that we'll
want to have you collect and attach here are documented at that wiki
(apt.log, term.log,main.log). It should hopefully contain some clues as
to what failed during the upgrade. Also, it would be best to open up
separate bug reports for each system that ran into an upgrade issue. We
can easily mark the bugs as duplicates later on if they are indeed
suffering from the same issue. Thanks.
