Nautilus does not really crash, but it freezes, maybe gdb only detects crashs, but freezed programs arent recognized as bug? I think nautilus is working, processing the svgs thumbs, but at turtle speed, which isnt good and need to be fixed if other people have the same problem.
Is there any program for recording a video of my desktop? If needed I can record when the problem happens in my desktop, since it happens always anyway. It´s not one svg, its about 8 of them or more in a folder. The folder has some logo design, ideas and development ideia, you know, confidential stuff. Can I send the folder to your e-mail? I was looking and you have 4, not sure to what one i should send it. I cannot show the folder to public yet, but I think youre alright , and will not do anything bad with it. More info: I tried to navigate in the folder from inkscape( from file>open ) 20 minutes ago, and nautilus froze too. as i write this comment it is STILL frozen, i will need to terminate inkscape because i cannot exit it naturally anymore with this freeze. I uninstalled before linux-sound-base, alsa-utils and alsa-base and reinstalled later, since im helping to solve a sound bug karmic has now. I heard maybe ubuntu desktop package is uninstalled when the above packages are removed. I reinstalled ubuntu desktop later, and i hope no other packages, maybe related to nautilus were uninstalled when i removed the first tree packages. -- nautilus crashes with many svgs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/473768 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
