Thank you for your quick answer. I did install the package you suggested and rebooted, then all of my sound devices were gone in sound preferences and I had no sound, no input nor output. I also checked the alsamixer. Then I removed the package and rebooted, nothing changed: still no sound. And then removed ~/.pulse directory and rebooted. Now I am back to where I have started except skype says "problem with playing audio playback"
