Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
Tools--> Add-Ons brings up the Add-Ons box, but everything is empty--
Extensions, Themes--every section. it seems that once every 3 or 4
times firefox is opened, the add-ons will be there and work, but the
rest of the time they're missing and non-functional (though i'll still
see greasemonkey and firebug icons in the bottom right corner) it seems
as if it's a permissions thing(?), but the inconsistency is odd.
This is an Ubuntu system and the problem started after an upgrade from
Ubuntu 8.04/Firefox 3.0.x to Ubuntu 9.10/Firefox 3.5.4.
re-installations of Firefox did not fix the problem.
