Will anyone testing the patch mentioned in comments #121-130 please let us know
how things are going? (=
Can anyone give a guesstimate as to when this patch will be released to the
general public through karmic updates?
I've been trying to get my family and friends into Ubuntu, but I cannot
recommend it to them until this very serious problem is resolved. I don't know
anybody who would be fine to purchase a new modem/router for the sake of IPv6
in Ubuntu, at least not when everything, except Karmic, appears to be working
fine. I believe no1lunchbox's comment (#127) hits the nail on the head.
