Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: fontforge
In the GNOME-Shell Desktop Environment, the FontForge icon looks very
pixelated. The problem is also very noticeable on dark themes such as
"Dust", which part of is used by default in the Ubuntu Netbook Remix.
Almost every single other icon isn't nearly as bad as this. The problem
is because there are gray pixels around the edges of the icon instead of
proper alpha transparency. This is a very minor bug, but it shouldn't be
too hard to fix. Maybe it could be done as part of the Hundred Paper-
cuts project or something? Icons affect the first impression that users
get of a program, or maybe even the entire operating system. I think we
should make a good effort to have icons that look as good as possible.
