Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 karmic. I have an Acer Timeline 4810tz.
I can record sounds with my internal mic using Sound Recorder and
Audacity, but in chat clients (I've tested pidgin, empathy, and Skype),
I can't get my mic to work (ie, the person I'm chatting with can't hear
me). Perhaps this is a bug in each of these programs, but it seems
unlikely to me.
Let me know about any further information you require.
