I’m not completely familiar with how upstart jobs work, but won’t that
make dkms_autoinstaller never start on a server that needs it for
openafs-modules-dkms?  Can you add a fallback event such as “… or
(starting rc RUNLEVEL=[2345])” so that it will always run at least as
early in the boot process as it did before?
