Also getting the problem. Pretty much a fresh Karmic install with Kubuntu and Xubuntu also installed, along with a few generic packages that shouldn't have any effect.
I have three hard drives, One with Karmic, my old drive with Jaunty, and a third drive with MacOS (Not running a real mac tho) All drives are Ext3 (With the exception of OSX, which is HPFS+). The Linux drives are broken up into an OS and Data partition. Q6600 on an NForce4 chipset, not that I think it makes a difference. After filing this bug report I'm going to try a reboot and see if the machine comes back up. Will let you know the results :-) -- package grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472298 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
