The job status message /usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoz700 failed
got issued. This means that there is a problem with the rastertoz700 filter. which is not part of the Ubuntu distribution. AFAIK this is a closed-source printer driver from Lexmark. Probably it does not work with some newer libraries of Karmic. To check that, run ldd /usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoz700 and post the output. If there are some libraries not found, try to set links to the current versions. If you are lucky your printer will then work again. Best is if you could obtain a newer version of this driver from Lexmark which is compatible with the current Linux distributions. -- printer not working. It worked with version 09.04. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478475 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
