I have created an ISO image ready to burn with the BIOS version 1.43.
Follow the steps:

- Unpack and burn the ISO image with you favourite application.
- Reboot your Acer laptop.
- Hit F2 in the first screen to enter setup. Navigate to menu "Boot" and make
sure the first device is CD drive.
- Save and exit. It will boot the FreeDOS Operating System.
- Make sure when you get the prompt that you are in the CD unit (is labeled X:).
- Change directory to X:\firm (cd firm).
- Execute if50.bat to flash the 1.43 version BIOS.

I prepared this to flash my own Acer Aspire 5315, so I though I could
share. Credits go to Sean Reifschneider for explaining the process to
create a FreeDOS iso image modified
(http://www.tummy.com/journals/entries/jafo_20080920_234755).

Link to the iso image:

I hope it helps. Of course, use at your own risk! Anybody not sure about
using this iso, just read Mr. Reifschneider post and feel free to follow
the steps.
