@Simon -- could you confirm the symptoms you get now when resuming from
suspend? Does the machine awaken, backlight come on, disk light flash
etc. Are you able to login from another machine (if you have one)?
Could you try booting with 'no_console_suspend' on your kernel command
line in grub, then switching to VT-1 (ctrl-alt-F1) and loging in there,
then using the command below to suspend:
sudo pm-suspend
On resume do you get any messages on the console there. If so could you
take a picture of them etc.
