Ubuntu better.
Please test if this is sitll an issue in Ubuntu 9.10 ("karmic"). You
don't need to upgrade, but it would be nice if you could test a live
system.
Please exercise the steps at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting to determine at which
level your hotkey problems occur, and attach the collected information
(this requires Ubuntu 9.10). Thanks!
