I have had this problem at least since 9.04, probably 8.10 too (and made a clean install somewhere along the way I think).
I really do think there should be a better way to do this than using the command line! I'd suggest some extension to the system manager or separate program (installable by apt-get and Synaptic). I'm guessing such a thing doesn't exist (or you'd told me), so: Can I simply do *all* of the steps in the section https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash#Hardy%208.04%20and%20Newer and then run the script https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace#Summary%20in%20script%20form ? There's just much too much for me to learn if I'd try to understand everything. :-) "save it somewhere in your $PATH" - What's my $PATH? -- Nautilus crashed while page down/page up in unloaded folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/468280 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
