I don't know if it's important, but I've tried the Gnome2-GlobalMenu applet and had some trouble with it in Karmic, couldn't run some apps like Gnome-System-Monitor and others, but when i've found some references to the applet for those issues i've apt-get remove --purge the applet and went on without it. Also, i have installed (and using) the avant-window-navigator-trunk (the development version of AWN from the awn-testing PPA), but i've had no visible issues with it so far ! This happened on both my systems, the desktop and my laptop, could this be involved in the situation ? That's all my systems have in common, haven't tried the F9 key-binding directly after the installation so I don't know if it worked or had the problem from the beginning. -- Key-binding F9 (Show Sidepane) freezes gedit until i click on it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478924 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
