Good morning,
I've got exactly the same issue. Although I want to mention, it's
happened on both partitions of my hard drive : EXT4 (system) and NTFS
(data)
I'm on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala 32bit
Kernel 2.6.31-14-generic
GNOME 2.28.1
on a laptop with a more than satisfactory configuration.
Also I have to say that it's more and more annoying given that for
instance, right now, I cannot access a folder in my
/home/me/documents/course/lecture contents - yeah in other words I
cannot study!
To give some more details, an hour ago I opened it and actually could
see and access the files (1 .odt and several .PDF) and then everytime I
tried to open this folder again, there was nothing at all, just looking
like it's loading for ages until recently when it displays the one .odt
and keeps loading for ages for the others not even to appear...
so what's up then?
