Public bug reported:

Hi, I saw this behaviour with feisty with kernel 2.6.20-8.
My laptop is an ASUS F3JC with intel HDA audio and the ALC660, I'm running
kubuntu.
When the phones are unplugged, I have no sound at all in the speakers. When I
plug the headphones in, sound comes from the speakers, instead of the
headphones. Switching the phones glaf/switch in Kmix doesn't seem to produce
any effect. Phones and speaker work well under windows XP.

Previously, with edgy, I had sound on the speakers, and pluging the
headphones in muted the speakers, but I had no sound in the headphones
at all. In feisty it seems to work the other oposite way...

cheers,
