So this is achange of behaviour, then, compared to 9.04. (Maybe Ubuntu should then come with a list of expected changes at an update? But that's another topic.) Can you please confirm this, also w.r.t. the screenshot that I was asked to add earlier: When I plug in ext3, it should show the storage size (e.g. "40 GB"), and when I plug in vfat, it should show its label (e.g. "Movies"); correct? Though that would be inconsistent. Also, according to the attached screenshot, you can make out that the partition is noted as ext3 in the overview to the left. On the right it says FAT32.
