Public bug reported:
When booting feisty herd 3? 4? how do i know? amd64 with the splash
option, usplash doesn't get to show up. Instead, screen goes "no signal"
and the caps lock LED starts blinking - completely hung. If I remove the
"splash" option from the GRUB kernel line, however, everything seems to
go fine.
Proc: AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Video: ATI Radeon X850XT (r480 maybe? I had some problems with fglrx and I now
use the radeon X driver)
