Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

sudo apt-get install epiphany-browser

The following extra packages will be installed:
  epiphany-browser-data gnome-js-common gobject-introspection
  gobject-introspection-freedesktop gobject-introspection-glib-2.0
  gobject-introspection-repository libcairo2-dev libdirectfb-dev
  libdirectfb-extra libexpat1-dev libfontconfig1-dev libfreetype6-dev
  libgirepository1.0-0 libglib2.0-dev libice-dev libjpeg62-dev libpixman-1-dev
  libpng12-dev libpthread-stubs0 libpthread-stubs0-dev libseed0 libsm-dev
  libsysfs-dev libx11-dev libxau-dev libxcb-render-util0-dev
  libxcb-render0-dev libxcb1-dev libxdmcp-dev libxext-dev libxfixes-dev
  libxft-dev libxml2-dev libxrender-dev mesa-common-dev x11proto-core-dev
  x11proto-fixes-dev x11proto-input-dev x11proto-kb-dev x11proto-render-dev
  x11proto-xext-dev xtrans-dev zlib1g-dev

This should clearly not be the case :). Digging deeper, this is
ultimately from gobject-introspection-freedesktop, which pulls a bunch
of dev packages as recommends. But gobject introspection should not
even be part of a runtime/normal user install of epiphany.

** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
