But that's right. Sometimes I hear cracks in the speakers.

Do you have any idea why this happens? Specially why happens sometimes
and not some others.

It seems that after booting ubuntu, sometimes the sound card works, sometimes 
(often) not. It doesn't show in the sound preferences->hardware box, and in the 
output I only have a dummy output.
