Roberto, this may or may not be related to your problem, but you are
currently running the Jaunty kernel (2.6.18) instead of the Karmic
kernel (2.6.31). The quick fix to this is to run 'sudo update-grub' and
then reboot. If you have been having any sound problems, this may fix
it as well...
