Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gqview

This concerns gqview 2.0.4-5 in Jaunty, amd64 platform.

I am attaching two Targa image files bundled with a commercial CAD
package. They represent an image (8peop17l.tga) and bitmap mask
(8peop17o.tga) of a man, standing in place. If thumbnails are enabled,
GQview displays thumbnails for both images correctly. However, if I load
either image, the image appears partially inverted and disjoint in the
main viewer---see attached screenshot to see what I'm seeing.

Curiously, if I load the other image, it also displays incorrectly, but
if I then switch back to the first image, it displays correctly. Which
suggests that some uninitialized variable(s) may be at fault....

** Affects: gqview (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
