Oops. Attachment added early. I've got a bit of an interesting take on the idea that things changed after yesterday's updates. Without the blacklist entry, I'm getting about a 20% success rate for the camera and the usb ports. That's better than before. I've only done 10 restarts and 10 shutdown/starts, but it seems encouraging. There doesn't seem to be a quantitative difference between the success rate for restarting v. shutting down and starting. But the dmesg outputs seem to be a bit different. I don't know enough to interpret them, so I'll just attach them in the hope they'll be useful to someone else. Sorry if it's a lot.
