Your DpkgTerminalLog.gz is long and complex and contains a lot of errors. Many of them hint at packages which have compatibility problems with Emacs 23 and/or emacs-snapshot. I would be somewhat tempted to mark this as a duplicate of the semantic/cedet emacs23 compatibility bug. Also lyskom-elisp-client seems to have a problem in its packaging. The final error and the signal sort of look like you have a disk full condition or similar, though.
Could you attempt to reinstall emacs23 while keeping an eye on disk usage? If you know how to attach a debugger to the dpkg process, that would be very handsome indeed. -- package emacs23 23.1+1-4ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/452237 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
