I boot my computer, it prints something about partitions, I log in.
Gnome boots but freezes when its nearly done. I can't click on anything.
For example keyboard shortcut to change desktops seems to work. After
maybe 15 - 25 seconds it resumes with starting applications, loading
panels and executing everything I have clicked on.
This happens everytime I boot since I my upgrade to Karmic.

Annotation: This occured during a previous hibernate and prevented it from
resuming properly.
