l-b-m-a-k-g contains code not reviewed or merged (at the time) into Karmic's linux source package and thus is unsupportable. As for why the mic(s) don't work -- no idea. Hardware enablement is a fairly non-trivial task. One approach you can try is to use a daily snapshot. Keep in mind you'll need to purge linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-14-generic (and/or linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-15-generic) before compiling and installing: http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa- driver-20091112.tar.bz2 -- No record-signal from internal mic (Notebook, Sigmatel, HDA Intel) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480815 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
