Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vim

In certain situations when opening a python file, the syntax
highlighting for quote blocks (""" or ''') incorrectly highlights
regular code. This happens under a very specific set of circumstances.
If you open a python file in such a way that only the closing quotes of
the quote block are visible (the opening quotes of the multi-line string
is out of view), then vim treats the closing quotes that is visible as
opening quotes and highlights accordingly. Only by scrolling above the
entire quote block so that it is no longer visible will highlighting be
correct again.

I have noticed this issue on other distros, so this should probably be
posted upstream as well.

** Affects: vim (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
