I can imagine the meeting...

Hello everyone...

Today we are going to talk about XYZ...

People are staring at the screen, one guy ask what are you running?

You proudly respond, Ubuntu 9.10 just installed it last night and no
problems, did I mention it is free...

Then some guy says oh is that why the screen is blinking and the
brightness is changing, as you look toward the overhead the room starts
to fill with laughter and hateful comments... You get what you pay for!,
You could have got a Dell man!, Windows 7 works better than this and so
does Vista!, Apple Rules! Linux is for poor hackers who like to spend
their days messing with their broke computer rather than working!

You stand there with your mouth open and utter, I know how to work
around this and then when you insert the thumb drive it will not
mount... You then bury your head into your hands, pat the sweat off of
your forehead with a folded napking, adjust your tie swallow hard and
ask for a computer that is working...

The room then erupts with laughter and the rest of the meeting is filed
with people cracking Linux jokes... Because of this you are off balance
and give the worst presntation of your life...

You are demoted, thrown to the street and in a deep dark corner of an
alley you have your netbook plugged into an extension cord for christmas
lights... You get an email for a job recurter and you respond with your
resume you typed in Open Office that the recurtire can not read with MS
Word so you are passed up for the job..

You send the rest of your days eating out of trash cans, telling
homeless people about Ubuntu 9.10 and how it ruined you.

Joking...

I have an MSI Wind and have experienced several issues too...
