*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 40872 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/40872
** Description changed:
Dear friends,
When new icons are created on the desktop, for plugged in devices and
ones that are created by programs like Firefox downloading a file and so
on, these icons are put all in the same position, on top of each other.
+
+ For example, try the command 'cd ~/Desktop && touch One && touch Two &&
+ touch Three' And see that they're one of top of the other.
I think that any means of placing new icons on the desktop will be
better than the way its currently done.
Many blessings.
