@Andres Monroy-Hernandez, So how to explain that the same audacity binaries work without problems on Jaunty? I assume that there's bug somewere else and audacity just showed it up ( but I can be wrong ;-) ). What's yours hardware? Could you try to backtrace the problem, too?
