This bug affects me. Suspend/resume whorks in Intrepid, neither Jaunty or Karmic successfully resume (they do suspend though). Always get a blank screen. Hibernate works.
Dell Studio 1535 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450. There is a similar bug #357877 filed by me. A partial workaround is to switch users before suspending, but this doesn't always work.
