Is this still an issue for you? Based on your BootDmeg.txt file I see
you appear to be running a much newer 2.6.29-02062904-generic (mainline
kernel build?). Based on the info Matt posted above from your
DpkgTerminalLog is seems the upgrade may have been killed before it
finished? Do you recall if you may have killed it before it was done?
