I agree with Yves. I hate that if I want to uninstall some unwanted programs that are part of the default install, it tells you that something like ubuntu-desktop will be uninstalled because it depends on it. So now we've come full circle by creating a dependency hell within the method of installing stuff designed to try to eliminate dependency hell. A lot of stuff can and should be made optional so people who want to remove things like games can do so without a giant hassle.
