** Description changed: + SRU Justification: + + Impact: Trying to turn of wireless via the Fn+F2 hotkey combination + results in a kernel panic when the hardware vanishes from under the + driver. + + Fix: Test for NULL pointer (patch from 2.6.31.5) + + --- + When I disable the wifi using Fn+F2, the system hangs with a kernel panic instead of disabling wifi. I'll try to catch the panic message properly and attach it here (but the machine doesn't have a serial port, so it might take some hacking).
