Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I just installed edgy and I am running firefox 2.0.0.1. I'm taking
online classes from UMUC using a system called Web Tycho. I can view
pages fine but when I attempt to submit data in a java script, it causes
Firefox to shut down. I duplicate this problem 100% of the time. Web
Tycho says they do not support Firefox but this application works fine
in Firefox on a Windows XP (sorry, I had to say it)machine.

Here is the technical info from Web Tycho:

Graduate School Requirements

1. Browsers

    * Netscape Communicator 7.0 (for PC)
    * Internet Explorer 6.0 (for PC)
      Please note that we are in the process of verifying the compatibility of
Internet Explorer 7.0 with WebTycho. While we do not officially support IE7 at
this time, we will do our best to help should you contact us for assistance.
If we are unable to resolve problems we will recommend using version 6.0 until
testing is complete.
    * AOL 8.0 (for PC)
    * Netscape 7.1 (for Macintosh)

2. Computer

    * Windows 2000
    * Windows XP

3. JavaScript 1.5

4. Java Virtual Machine (JVM)

5. An E-mail Account

6. Configure Various Settings
Once you have established access to a computer, various settings must be
applied. Follow the Setting Up Checklist for guidance.

7. Unacceptable
Any other browser or operating system is not acceptable. This includes
Macintosh computers and AOL, Opera, Firefox and older versions of Netscape and
IE and beta versions. You may find limited success using alternative technology
with WebTycho, but success is not assured.
