the initially reported issue is not a bug. We lock the browser update
preference so you will not mess up your firefox install. Ubuntu packages
cannot updated through browser update.
I see no other issue in this bug report. Extensions and theme should
update automatically and I can configure the behaviour both in dapper as
in edgy.
Rejecting bug, because of this. If there is a real issue, reopen and let
me know :).
