Andreas, what do yuo mean by "Problem due to archive inconsistency." that makes this bug "incomplete".
Don't you mean that the problem was archive inconsistency at the time the bug was reported, and that archive problem has now been fixed, so installing Karmic today does not have this problem. I installed Karmic some days ago (from CD) attached to the internet, and I did not run into this problem.
