Thanks Fabrice, Why unstable:- 1) New version is only available in unstable (this new version has been out from upstream for over a year and a half). 2) A build dependency problem is preventing it from moving to testing. 3) I synced from unstable to get the new version and fixed the build issue.
I've been in contact with the Debian maintainer, and he is going to upload the fixes I have in this package to Debian unstable, which will migrate into testing - and we can just sync from there. I'm also thinking of adopting the package in Debian, it's RFA-ed. We're now just waiting for Debian to upload the fix so it can migrate to testing, but it has been two weeks without an upload. If you want to hold off and wait for the upload, migration, and then sync - that could make sense too. What do you think? If I was doing the upload, I'd hold off a bit longer to see if Debian uploads it. -- merge eagle with debian unstable (5.6.0-3) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478586 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
